I. Project Info
Predictem.com, where you can get all the latest news and picks about sporting events. For this project, we migrated Predictem’s legacy website over to WordPress, and revamped their server and changed hosting providers to Amazon Web Services. We also consolidated two separate systems into one domain, by using path based proxy requesting.

Results
Predictem’s remap has show significant improvements in page speed time and SEO returns. We wrote more about it in our blog post about technical SEO here.
Request Routing
We implemented two product clusters underneath one url for high availability.
We used Fastly to power the CDN and the request proxying. Most things route to the WordPress cluster, but the /forums/ path goes to the forums cluster.
Development
We did custom plugin development for WordPress and vBulletin.
Putting WordPress and vBulletin under the same URL, and behind a CDN required major considerations. We were able to do this by using the plugin framework for both products.
SEO Results
Migrating to WordPress and implementing caching had huge benefits on SEO.
Predictem saw an overnight increase of 10,000% index urls by Google by the new server architecture.
